I wish I was taught early on abt what to expect when learning a new craft
Growing up I had a false expectation that when it comes to learning something new I have 2 options:
1 it will be easy for me and I should go for it (having a natural talent)
or 2 it will be hard and there is no point trying at all
And you already know what comes out of that thinking… I achieved nothing
I didnt learn any skill long enough to achieve mastery (or at least decent)
I gave up too early on without letting it developed/cooked
I know a lot of things but at the same time, I dont know sh!t
Anyways, now that I understand when walking into a new realm of expertise, when starting a new craft I expect that it’s gonna be hard as sh!t and it’s okay.
Hard things are worth pursuing
As long as I enjoy the process, I should keep going
As long as I can put in the work, the result will come
If you keep throwing 💩 at the wall, something will stick 😂
Focus on the input and output will come 👁
