Probably the worst day of my life

This is how I got fired before I even started my new job
I remember finally landing a job offer after hundreds of applications. I was so relieved! I was supposed to start the following Monday, and it was a big step forward for me.
Then, that Sunday morning, my car decided to die. Like, completely dead. Engine failure.
The worst part? The new job was 45 minutes away and there’s no public transportation.
I called the employer, explained the situation, see if we can work something out, and... they fired me on the spot.
I lost the job,
I remember just sitting in my broke down car and was just staring at nothing
But I refuse to be sad forever. I knew I had options and it was a big learning lesson
I started applying to more job listings, built more projects for my portfolio
Like i was totally bummed, but the circumstance fuel me in a way that nothing ever did, I knew I was valuable, I knew I can easily land another job, I was even more confident
And in the end, I found a job that was only 10 minutes away, similar pay but the people and the environment was wayyy better than the first one. I’ll never forget working there.
That’s why you need to keep going even when life throws you curveballs
Setbacks are inevitable, but they don’t have to define you.
Reframe failure, believe in yourself, and never stop pushing forward.
